If we were having coffee, it would have to be decaf because it’s after 6 in the evening! I’m running late and for no good reason.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you about how yesterday turned out to be a stay in and do nothing day. I streamed Army Wives all day. I’ve seen the whole series several times but I’m currently binging on it again.

It was a day to just forget everything and pamper myself. I don’t do that often enough. So I did it yesterday.

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I debated whether to write this post it a Weekly Smile post. I’m running to get back into a habit of doing both so I decided to write this one and try to write the other in a couple of hours.

If we were having coffee I would tell you that this week I ordered tea steepers so I can enjoy my loose teas. Somehow I ended up with none so I had to get more. I found some cute ones on Amazon that are silicone tea bags. They look just like a tea bag but they open up and you can put in your loose tea then steep it. Those will be good for starters because it’s a set of six and they were very inexpensive. Later I’ll get something different. But these will do for now. And with 6, It’s okay if I lose one!

If we were having coffee, I think I would cut it short so I can get to another post. I’m slow with the WordPress interface. It’s very different from when I was blogging regularly and it takes me awhile to actually post it once it’s finished!

Until next time, I’m steeping tea and trying to get this posted!

If we were having coffee, I would probably want caffeine, even though it’s almost 6 pm. That’s because I’m in Seattle visiting with the grand baby! My son and daughters in-law are going to a movie and dinner so I’m watching Mati tonight and I don’t want to be too sleepy. I need to be alert.

This is the highlight if the week for me. I’ve missed seeing him grow. It gas been a little over three months since I’ve seen him. He’s four months old.

Not too much to say. I will be posting about The Princess Bride tomorrow. I also hope to get in a Weekly Smile post in Monday. Oh, and remember last week I told you about doing tarot readings? It has been quite popular and I am definitely getting in my practice!

Tell me what you’re up to!

If we were having coffee, you would be visiting me at the hospital where I was admitted on Thursday after being referred here by the clinic. Big sigh. I don’t like being here.  I will be writing a separate blog post explaining what is going on, after I’m done with this post.  Kind of as an escape for just a little bit.

I’ve had a bad couple of weeks. No coffee share last week because of that. I’ll be going home for a few days, hopefully leaving today. During the week I have some medical things to prepare for and will be helping with my grandson’s birthday party next weekend. And Easter Sunday.  Spencer will be 2. He’s a handful. Last night I got a text message from my daughter saying he had dumped his cereal bowl over on to the floor and then ate it all of the floor. He thinks he’s a cat. I’m normally the one with the boys all day or at least for a few hours I’m her days off. Now that I’m sick, she’s seeing the monster side of Spencer a lot more. I will still be happy to seed my boys whenever I get home.

My youngest daughter is coming from California for a few days. I’m hoping I’ll be able to enjoy her visit. She is extending her stay so she can be here in Portland for my surgery on the 9th. My son is in Japan, working, for three months. He just got there on Monday. With a little help from any powers in the cosmos, we won’t need to call him home early.

I hate to cut it short but the blessed nurse just walked in with the first cup of coffee I’ve had since last Tuesday so my attention is gone. Plus, I’m writing this on a tablet and is so mensch more difficult and slow that way.  Until next time, see ya. Have a great week.  And if you’re interested, Come back in a couple off hours and read about my medical journey thus far, if only because I think there are lessons to be learned.
