If we were having coffee, you would be visiting me at the hospital where I was admitted on Thursday after being referred here by the clinic. Big sigh. I don’t like being here.  I will be writing a separate blog post explaining what is going on, after I’m done with this post.  Kind of as an escape for just a little bit.

I’ve had a bad couple of weeks. No coffee share last week because of that. I’ll be going home for a few days, hopefully leaving today. During the week I have some medical things to prepare for and will be helping with my grandson’s birthday party next weekend. And Easter Sunday.  Spencer will be 2. He’s a handful. Last night I got a text message from my daughter saying he had dumped his cereal bowl over on to the floor and then ate it all of the floor. He thinks he’s a cat. I’m normally the one with the boys all day or at least for a few hours I’m her days off. Now that I’m sick, she’s seeing the monster side of Spencer a lot more. I will still be happy to seed my boys whenever I get home.

My youngest daughter is coming from California for a few days. I’m hoping I’ll be able to enjoy her visit. She is extending her stay so she can be here in Portland for my surgery on the 9th. My son is in Japan, working, for three months. He just got there on Monday. With a little help from any powers in the cosmos, we won’t need to call him home early.

I hate to cut it short but the blessed nurse just walked in with the first cup of coffee I’ve had since last Tuesday so my attention is gone. Plus, I’m writing this on a tablet and is so mensch more difficult and slow that way.  Until next time, see ya. Have a great week.  And if you’re interested, Come back in a couple off hours and read about my medical journey thus far, if only because I think there are lessons to be learned.

The weekend coffee share is a weekly blog link up run by Diana at Part Time Monster. You can join in the fun by writing a post and visiting her blog and linking your blog post in the
Linky. Not sure how? Just ask. We’re a very friendly group!
