Norm over at Norm 2.0 has a Thursday feature where he posts pictures of doors and invites people to do the same. I have been wanting to do it for some time but haven’t gotten the chance to go through some computer files to find the doors I want to share. I finally found several last night so I’m joining this week.
When I moved to Portland, a friend of my daughter’s came to visit and had an appointment for a tour at Portland University in North Portland where her younger brother wanted to attend. She didn’t have a car and my daughter was working that day so I took her to the tour and to a number of other places around town. The picture is of the door to the chapel at Portland University. It’s not a great picture because it was taken with my old phone which was not a smartphone and it was a bad angle because of everyone else on the tour being in the way but I hope you get some idea of the intricate carvings on the door which is made from locally sourced wood.
If you would like to either join in the Thursday Door feature, post your door picture on your blog and then go to Norm 2.0 blog to link your url to all the other people sharing today.
