That’s my magic word for 2015.
I think it’s a pretty special word. Think about it. Life is thrown at us and sometimes it knocks us out. It doesn’t have to. We can take what we are given and create from it our own path instead of letting it form us.
And, on a different level, I am wanting to start new things this year so I hope to be creating new things. There’s zentangle that I want to start doing daily. I’m also doing a 30 day online art journal project, hoping to create a space for myself to start being more creative. And I want to help indie writers so I’m hoping to create a little spot right here to help them. In fact, maybe one day soon I’ll join those indie authors and I can help myself a bit through this blog. That’s another thing I hope to create this year…my writing…I need to do more of it and take it more seriously as I’ve pretty much abondoned it.
I want to create more wonderful moments with my grandsons and my familly; create more memories!
If we don’t create things, we’ll run out of new things and stagnate. That’s not good. I don’t want that to be me.
So join me in 2015. Let’s all try to create something good for ourselves and those around us!

That’s the most magical of magic words–and a great way to start (and continue) the year.

I love the word ‘create’ and all its relatives: creative, creativity, creation…in fact, isn’t that what all of life is about? If we’re alive, we are creating in every moment starting with decisions, then actions. Essentially, we create our life. So here’s to you Corina in creating your best year ever! 🙂 ❤

Great word! That was my word in 2010 and it served me well. This year is my year of “enough”. I’m excited to see where my word will lead me this year. I really enjoyed your post, and reading about your zentangle and art journaling…two things that I’m interested in. So glad I stopped by from NaBloPoMo!

I hope you try Zentangle. It’s fun and can help clear your mind of all the “stuff” that invades it every day. I’ll probably be posting about Zentangle here as soon as I learn a little more about it and I’ll post some of my creations…even if they aren’t so great!

Not necessarily but I suppose some of it will inevitably end up here.

Create – love it. I seem to be reading a lot about Zentangle recently – I shouldn’t compare it to the Spirographs of my youth but I loved doing those. This is the first year I’ve chosen a word, because I’ve been reading about it in many blogs. I chose DIFFERENT. Perhaps I will look into Zentangle as I’ve never done anything artistic in that kind of medium. It would be different!

Jan, sometimes we just have to seize the moment to create or it “ain’t gonna happen”. May you find some time soon!

Create is a wonderful word. And creativity is something we can apply to all areas of our lives. I too plan to create – writing – in 2015, so wish you well.

Donna, thank you for stopping by. I’ve tried to comment on your blog but blogger doesn’t like me. It isn’t taking my comments at all. Last week it would take them using Open ID but not WordPress ID. This week it isn’t taking either. But I am reading your blog. I like your boots, by the way!

Create! That’s a great word. I love how you initially interpreted it to mean creating your life. Then being creative…that’s excellent! 🙂
