This week, as I have been traveling, I’ve had the opportunity to re-connect with old friends and old memories. It has been a journey that one hour will have me talking about here and now and then next I will be catapulted 35 years into the past. I’ve talked to people I knew in high school, in college, and my post-college/pre-mommydom days. I’ve also talked to some that never knew me until I was a mom and full time volunteer with the schools and scouts. Wow. What a journey I have been on this past week. It’s not over yet. In a couple of hours I’ll be joining a dinner celebration on San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf, as one of my son’s friends (and our families were also friends) graduates from Hastings Law School. I’m so proud of him. It took him a while to decide what he wanted to do with his life but he decided and went after it and here it is, at his doorstep!
I’m processing a lot of memories right now. I know I’ve enough to keep me writing blog posts for the rest of the year and then some. I’ll be doing that but right now I’m processing. I’m categorizing. I’m re-examining. I’m digesting.
The long 11 hour drive home on Monday will help me think and process and re-focus. I hope to be back with a fresh blog entry on Tuesday or Wednesday.

It is good to reflect! Have a fun and safe journey home.
Enjoy your trips, (the drive and memory lane). I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you have to say.
